I’m a California girl living in the wilds of Scotland with my family and loving every minute of it.
It’s a bit of a busy time, right now. Isn’t it always?
Have recently seen the release of the Simon Pearce stories from Blind Eye Books, and Death in the Age of Steam from Elm Books. Both of these were a long, difficult labor with lots of love, and for this reason will always hold a special place in my heart.
At present, I’m working on a new novel for Bold Strokes Books. It’s a monster story set in late Victorian London, and, as always, nothing is what it first appears to be.
Also? (You mean there’s more? Yup.) Am whittling away at something that is reading suspiciously like romance. #PerilsOfPantsing
But that’s — literally — another story for another time.
